My eye is completely healed. I was able to shave with the Mad Max 2 shaves in a row. I was able to drive in the rain at night to go to church. Can read very small print w/o a problem. In fact, I have to let the district know that I am available to sub once again. Thanks for asking Patrick!
They're both balanced. However, the Model T's fulcrum is further down the handle so you have to grip it to have the razor be balanced. Personally, I just grab the razor and shave without worrying about finding the balance point.

Very good shave this morning...could have been better, but I'll take it! 0:35 to load the Bay Rum soap(Jeeves)onto the Maggard brush. Smooth sailing on the sweeping. Except for a cut at the SW corner of Porcupine Alley, a good first pass. Strong second pass, which included some extra loading. I had to be careful along the edges of Porcupine, which makes me wonder if I should switch razor direction for the second pass(that is, south to north). Might try that tomorrow. Continued success at Cactus Nation. The combination of the bodywash in the shower and the Stephan Bay Rum aftershave gave me a nice soft smooth finish. A bit of a clove scent for the first hour after the Stephan, but it's settled down now to the perfect ingredient blend it always provides. Super Duper Excellent.

good morning gents, williams wednesday shave.built a fabulous vintage williams mentholated lather with the rubberset 200-3 and went to town with the 1970 u.s tech/platinum combo, producing a bbs in 3 fine passes.a little milder than the canadian prewar but does the job just fine.i think many folks had the gillette black handle adjustable by this point or the black handled flare tip as tech sales had diminished and were phased out by 1973 in the U.S..All during the heyday of gillette blades. the "spoiler"..will have to try a spoiler in this razor at some point.the techs continued on until the 80s in England and onwards in Europe..finished with menthol induced stirling mountain man aftershave, coutesy of our Jason @jtspartan .thank you.:)
    awesome shave.have a fine day everyone..

Thank you Joe....it looks like the Bay Rum soap will sink directly in the middle leaving a TON of soap along the sides(or as I call, feetball fans).

    No Love November Shave
    DE Shave # 296

    Rating: 5 / 5

Razor: Gillette SS Blue Tip TTO (1956 B-1)
    Blade: Treet Classic
Brush: Strike Gold Shave Minion 24 mm Badger
Lather: Santa Fe Soap Ranch Redwood Vetiver
Aftershave: Derby City Chop Shop Small Batch Tonic- Winter Reserve
    Additional Care:
    Barbero Alum Block
Thayer's Witch Hazel - Aloe Vera
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

No Love November for both the soap and razor. I have not used these in approximately two or three months. The soap is a hard soap that I find very slick and delivers a nice lather if I bloom it while I take a nice warm shower. The Minon badger brush easily made quick work of whipping up a nice lather. I am finally dialing in the Blue Tip as long I remember to ride the cap not the bar.

I decided to break out the Winter Reserve splash to accompanying the soap. The soap has a very subtle scent. If it was a bit more vetiver forward, I would imagine that this would not be a good combination. I am now ready for my day at home, doing virtual schooling due to my son's school being closed for Professional development. We are both on a Google Meet with our respective classes.

We have a beautiful day here on LI, so I hope to get outside later to enjoy the weather. Have a great day gentlemen.
