    November 4 Shave of the Day

    Good morning friends!

    Straight Razor Shave #220
    7/8 Henckels Full Hollow Square Pt
    Heritage Collection C-Mon Super HD Badger
    Stirling Spice AS and SS
    Whiskers: 39.5 hours

    I decided to pick one of my favorite setups to put a smile on my face. I really should use Stirling Spice soap more often. It really is a beautiful, cologne type scent. I finally figured out how to use the C-mon brush without it being too much of a lather hog. I use very little water before I load the soap into a paste. I paint lather and then when I have enough soap on my face, I use circular and paint strokes to finish. Voila! No more soap running toward the handle. The Henckel was my first vintage razor and is anot excellent shaver. It took 2.5 passes with no touch ups or glitches for a BBS shave. Applied the aftershave and there wasn't any burning.
