It's better than pulling the hair out. I have 3 daughters and I shave me head so I'm speaking from experience Blair.
i wish you luck.i was very rebellious and moved out by 18..i believed if i was old enough to be called up or sign for military service and die for my country i was old enough to do as i pleased..
I've been a fan of spreadsheets for many years. Nicely done, Charlie! Do you have a matching 32 years worth of Tabac to complement your blade supply?
Most open blade shavers get caught up in doing 3 full passes of WTG, XTG and ATG. Realistically, you should be able to get a nice, comfortable shave just doing WTG and XTG, or WTG and ATG passes. I believe getting an open blade BBC isn't necessary unless you are trying to impress someone or you are going to have a romantic evening. Don't get me wrong! BBS is great, but a near BBS is just as good as far as I am concerned. Personally, an excellent shave is smooth, comfortable without any bloodshed or irritation. However, when I use a safety, I do chase the baby.
You do realize that you have enough razor blades to last you 30+ yrs if you just use each blade once and then bin it.
I have been using an excel worksheet to keep up with things. With Jim's tip on how to remove items I will try the Shave Buddy App again.
I have noticed the engineer type always want to count, calculate, sort, list, then use some type of higher math to rationalize the staticall date of next purchase. I say just get a shelf and fill 'er up! I'll worry about running low sometime in say... 2025 or 2026, or so.... maybe. tp
31.8 years if I shave daily at my normal number of uses per blade, but who's counting? I'll end up giving away a good portion of these blades, so no worries.
Good point, Terry. I should just measure blade inventory to the nearest cubic foot and be done with it. Your blade inventory looks a little worrisome, BTW.
It is a little low Charlie. I'm saving my pennies in case something is on sale. But I'm good for now. tp
