    MrEE Half Naked Shave Stalker

    November 6th

    Razor: Gillette Toggle (F4)
    Blade: Kai Stainless
    Brush: Rubberset 400
    SS: MWF
    AS: Stetson Cooling Mist

    The expirement continues with a Toggle on 9 and an extremely sharp Japanese blade. I don't think I've heard much praise for the Toggle's performance as a shaver. It's not not known for its smoothness. In fact Toggles are known to bite if not used carefully.

    Well, I did nick myself while alternating between edges. It was a stupid mistake that took almost a full minute to show blood, and I really don't blame the razor.

    However, with careful skin stretching and short buffing strokes I got a 2 pass BBS shave with minimal cleanup. And no nicks or irritation besides the fumble. While I'm liking middle of the road razors I'm really liking sharp blades.

    I'll try the Toggle with the same blade on a 1 to see how that goes, but I may need to do a similar expirement with alternating blades known more for smoothness with blades known to be extremely sharp.
