Nice little German made razor shave today. I had a very smooth, 2 pass shave, with no touchups, that left me BDBS. Zero issues.

Razor- Kiebitz 125 , Solingen-Weyer. Circa 1925-1928.
Brush- JR#262, Birdseye Maple/Ebony. Silvertip Badger.
Soap- RazoRock XXX
Aftershave- Vintage Avon Spicy. Vikings Horn Decanter. Circa 1970's.

***EDIT - 2 pass + clean up. A few weepers, but BBS. Went to the alum block to avoid what would've been a massive aftershave sting and it the weepers sealed with no issue. My face is super soft. This was the first use of the Derby Premium blade. The blade is as smooth as a BiC Chrome Platinum but cuts better. Using another comparison with the Astra SP blade, the Derby Premium is not as sharp, but smoother. The Astra SP has possibly been the best overall blade in the Edwin Jagger DE89 head. This Derby Premium shaves effortlessly. It's so smooth and effortless that ended up over-shaving because it was so comfortable and smooth and mowed down the stubs, so I thought I could get away with chasing every last possible perceived imperfection.

I definitely enjoy the Derby Premium brand blades over the awful Derby Extra brand. There is no comparison. Spend the extra money and buy the Derby Premium, it's worth it. I got a great shave. Aside from my overzealous and greedy over-shaving, this was a perfect shave. And my aftershave treatment with alum and balm was enough to undo my mistakes. After a few hours to judge this shave I think it's a 9 out of 10 with BBS results.

Prep: Warm shower / Cussons Imperial Leather ~ Arctic Ocean & Icelandic Moss Shower Gel.

Pre:

Cold wet flannel to my face.
Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Chinese Unbranded Silvertip Fibre.
Face Lather.
Soap : Clubman Pinaud.
Blade: Rapira Swedish Supersteel. (1)
Razor: Baili ~ BD177 Rose Gold TTO.

Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./P&G ~ Old Spice Bearglove A/S Spray. / Aloe Vera Gel.

Another early morning start for me.....A new shave set up to start the weekend...I will be using shaving assortments that have been kindly gifted & passed on to me for my shaves this week.
It's been a while since i lasted used the Russian made Rapira Swedish Supersteel which i find smooth efficient enough paired together excellently with the Chinese super-speed clone.
A comfortable 3 pass + pick ups DFS/Near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling divine.
