Solid shave today, just a couple small weepers on my neck from going a bit too fast. The lather and scent were excellent.

The Virgilio Valobra Shaving Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #220 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette 1918 Army Old Type razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: Sapele/Acrylic Handle w/ New Omega Pro48 Boar Knot
SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Chiseled Face Natural AS Splash

I think I’ll be able to keep using this Minora blade all week in spite of how tough my beard is because it’s still very sharp and smooth. The Glacial Eskimo Tuxedo soap’s scent is so gorgeous - it’s based on Stirling’s Sharp Dressed Man which is almost the same as Creed’s Green Irish Tweed, the lather works up so rich with typical great Stirling slickness, the menthol sensation is killer cold, and the skincare is perfect. The Glacial Unscented balm and the Arctique aftershave brought the freeze to an insane level. Three delightful passes made ashes and dust of my stubble - what a brilliant BBS shave this was!

No Shave of the Week for me this week, just couldn't make up my mind. Guess I'm fickled, so I'll be doing SOTD with different stuff. Last shave on the 7 Days blade. Worked ok but starting to pull a bit. Hadn't used the Pure SC for awhile but it's a nice cream that works well for me. For all you Gillette haters, sorry but I like it so I'll use it. Now go enjoy your day folks.
