The Tabac Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #220 Synthetic Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette 1918 Army Old Type razor with a Gillette Silver Blue blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac ASB. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    2020-11-10, Tuesday

Of the mist that accompanied my shaving, together with the Duke, there is now a pale trace left.

The lockdown, apparently, is not influencing the habits too much, on the contrary: the onion queues of the former Soviet Union of the '50s in front of the supermarkets have disappeared, even if you see signs of Acute Neuronal Obnubilation: an old man pedaling on a bicycle in an always deserted street wearing a mask, lone drivers, sealed in the car, wearing the mask too and others who wear it as if it were a boutonnière...

And the different facets of stupidity form kaleidoscopic designs of exhausted neurons. Or never used!

Albert Einstein knew what he was doing when he said:
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity.
And I'm not sure about the universe.

Today's shave revealed to me the truth about Vitos.
I hadn't used it for years and today I decided to try it again: it didn't excite me, emotionally, however, at the redde rationem, I could not criticize the now odorless lather.
I obtained a very loose foam, on which the blade slipped with the nonchalance of Carolina Kostner.

And I found out that the yellow SOC is excellent on the Teutonic slant: Merkur really knows how to make a safety razor: a single pass and a couple of touch-ups and until tonight I will be very smooth.

Now I have to perform some tasks that, at the moment, I cannot delegate, so I leave you to talk about nonsense like razors, stones, soaps and aftershave!
