    Come over to the dark side. You can always get a metal lathe. They have dials and gears and require simple math even a chemical engineer or a 4th grader could figure out.

    Edit: I forgot to mention, metal lathes have a lead screw and a half nut. You'd feel right at home.

    I occasionally get what i consider a BBS shave too. The answer to your question is the Kent soap rebranded MWF is yes, as is bluebeards revenge shaving soap, price wise both cost less. People are attracted to brand consumerism. I always look at the active/ingredients before I buy a product.However the MWF looks wonderful in its fancy ceramic dish, but it's not really necessary as the bowl is just a cosmetic selling point. As always, YMMV.

    I heard Arko was just rebranded Palmolive without the green dye, the scent, the superior ingredients, or quality control; and they still make Arko in a stick so everybody wins. ;) sshhh. Don't tell @jtspartan
