Awesomeness Jim! That brush is just mesmerizing. There was a lot of work put into that beauty. Enjoy and I want to see more of it.

Well, shux...any doubt that I may have had that today is Friday the 13th was erased by my shave. I was closing out the "back-to-back set" of Clubman shave cream and Clubman Original A.S. The shave cream came out like a squiggly Copperhead again, which didn't surprise me but it a bit annoying. I think from now on I'll hold it under warm/hot tap water as I fill the sink. For some reason, that seems to thicken the cream. A nasty cut developed at its usual place-South Porcupine Alley. was probably going too fast with the razor(a clown no-no), but the thin shave cream could well have contributed, too. Since it came early, it threw me off stride for the remainder of the shave. I had already swept through my facial areas, so at least THAT was ok. I missed a section of Cactus Nation, too(but I got the sides fine). Thankfully, the Clubman A.S. made me feel much better(course it always does). Pretty Excellent.... I will try to have a better shave for the next Friday/13th As for the Clubman shave cream-it's Dunkin Tapwater time.

SOTD FRIDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 13, 2020

Superstitious sorts might be a bit Leary of a sharp edged single blade shave on Friday the thirteenth, but my shave was just awesome. The Manhattan Cutlery 13/16 is easily my favorite straight razor as well as being one of my oldest razors. There’s something about Sheffield cast steel razors, but this one shaves like a dream. My dome shave was every bit as good. The Colonial General V2 never lets me down. I feel cool, clean and velveteen!

RAZOR: Manhattan Cutlery 13/16 Sheffield Cast Steel (Mug), Colonial General V2 (Dome)
    BLADE: Feather Super AC
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
BRUSH: JR Custom Rosewood Silvertip Badger
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Osage Rub.

That's what I did this morning, Danny(that led to the cut). That Clubman shave cream is real good and deserves better treatment than I gave it. It's goin' under the tap next time. I hate snakes.
