    good morning gents,fine shave today with the simplex.very light razor compared to what i am used to but still a great near bbs in 2+ passes.not sure if this was issued to military or purchased by choice.will have to research..fine proraso sandalwood lather and splash to finish..have a great day everyone..:cool:

    Thanks, Joe, neither am I or I wouldn’t have shaved this morning! I don’t know what it is about this old Manhattan Cutlery razor, but it is easily my favorite straight razor!

    Good for you, Paul! Lathering it can be a bit problematic for some. You need to spend some serious time on the lathering process, but when you finally get it; it pays off in incredible skin conditioning.

    Very nice shave Gary! That razor is definitely on the other end of what you normally shave with but it sound like a great shaver.
