  5. You must be tired Gary! The last time I checked my name was Joe. However, I don't mind being mistaken for Jeff! He's smarter than I am.

  8. Yup, just those few minor details...
Agreed, Joe. An excellent software combo. I enjoyed the soap scent much more than I thought I would.
When prose is too dull, strike some verse...Awesome, Joseph. Thoughts on that splash, specifically?
Curious, Joe, that if you have never tried an A & E soap, what you are basing your opinion of the Kaizen base on?
Yes, when I think 'Clubman', I think of The Donald...
Sounds like a very good first use of that razor, Clint. The finish is so unique for sure. Sounds like those blades may be a keeper as well.
Why am I not surprised your photography makes that brush look even better, Jim. Such skilled work on that distressing. I cannot do that, that well, to be honest.
Always love that Colonial General when you pull it out, Jeff. Awesome.
Looking forward to what you find out about that razor, Gary. Very cool combo.
    More food I've never seen...
No safety bar = easier blade wear? I'll have to take your word for it...

  13. It's based on reliable You Tube shavers that I consistently follow. On their videos, I see how the Kaizen base lathers into a very, creamy, slick lather. Finally, Kaizen has a great rep throughout the shave community. I have never shaved with a Rex Ambassador but that doesn't mean that I can't say that it is a fine razor because it's reputation is well-known. The same can be said of a Max Sprecher straight. I knew that the brand was top quality prior to shaving with one. Obviously, my Mad Max proved that the maker is top notch. Bottom line, I will give my approval on an item without using it only when I vet my research via reliable sources.

  14. Nice shave Joe! Love that razor!
I had to read that again. For some reason I thought you had shaved from head to toe. Nice shave Joseph!
Creative post, Danny! I'm pretty ready for this to be over. Whatever the outcome I just want to see it end. Hope that's politically neutral enough for everyone.
Interesting razor Clint! I'm not sure what "stone wash" finish would be like in a razor. Artisans are getting creative.
Congrats on the new brush Jim! Looks nice. And a great shave too.
    Nice shave Paul!
Great shave Jeff. I love vintage straights. Just need to find a few more in good condition. Enjoy your weekend.
