Shaving Recipe For the day.

Prep: Warm shower / Cussons Imperial Leather ~ Arctic Ocean & Icelandic Moss Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.

Simple ~ Sensitive Bar Soap + Nuage Menthol shaving Oil.
Brush: Wilkinson Sword Boar.
Face Lather.
Soap : Boots ~ Original Shave Stick.
Blade: Trig ~ Silver Edge. (2) (Green cover)
Razor: Ming Shi 3000s. ~ (Settings) 7-wtg, 8-xtg, 9-atg+pick ups.
Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint lavender eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./ Boots ~ Freshwood ASL + ASB.

A relaxing Boots Shaving product trio Sunday morning shave.

After the close shave with my parker variant yesterday the mild, yet efficient enough Ming Shi 3000s made my Sunday morning shave a pleasurable experience.
The humble Boots shave stick provided a slick protective lather in a short space of time leaving a superb post shave feel to my face.
Another wonderful 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Boots ~ Freshwood ASB.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.

My local Boots doesn't seem to ever have any of their own brand shaving stuff in stock... It also says sold on out on the interwebz! Has it been discontinued?

Nice mellow shave, Gary! You use adjustables as they were designed - changing settings for each pass. Since I only use safety razors on my dome, and never go beyond two ATG passes, it wouldn’t work for me. YMMV

Sorry to hear that, Jason! Periodically, SWMBO becomes annoyed with my MOLC existence and comes up with these intermittent type tasks for me. Today, I’ll be installing the shelf from our bathroom into my stepson’s. Most working folk relax over their weekends, SWMBO keeps me occupied weekends, but I do generally get to enjoy the regular work week as a dedicated MOLC member should!

 

Thanks, Evan! It is a unique safety razor, being an SE that uses full sized DE blades, and is a truly amazing head shaver! I have three, although one is sequestered in our Georgia place and the other in our Philly condo. We haven’t been to Georgia or Philly since this past March! I’m eagerly awaiting a vaccine!

 

Thank you,Jeff ...Yes i like to try different settings with my adjustables..The Ming Shi 3000s looks an aggressive beast when you see the size of it's blade gap, but in all honesty it's not aggressive at all, not like it's sibling the 2000's which is a very very,assertive razor that i only use on it's lower aggression settings. I do a 'no guard' buzzcut every week with my WAHL clippers and once a month i do a full head/dome shave with a safety razor, like yourself two passes normally WTG ATG ,+ pickups when necessary to do so...Since i started doing my monthly head/dome shave it has vastly improved my technique & shaving confidence..Show any razor some respect, and your rewarded with error-free shaves. If you don't then you'll get bitten.
