Partied like a rock star Saturday... got a mere 4 hours of sleep... Sunday was thus a drag... Went to bed really early... got 11 hours of sleep... Now I'm Fantastic!
well, what a morn... got to work early, lab needed a program installed for a class that started today - naturally, they didn't get me the installation media until 15 minutes before I had to leave Friday, soooo.... but, got it installed with a few minutes to spare even got to help Micah troubleshooting their issue - unfortunately, he probably won't be on again today until he gets home, the issue takes down their connectivity to the interwebs now, onto the rest of the pressing, need-it-yesterday issues
Here goes... the jerks at work don't appreciate all it takes to keep the technology working. They wait until it is far too late and then expect Jim or Micah to fix it yesterday. Overworked, unappreciated, and often pantless - that is our Jim and Micah. Been at work since 5:10 and I think I didn't get 1/4 of what I should have before everyone else walked in at 7:30. Oh well... Maybe tomorrow I will come in a bit earlier.
Back up! Luckily region 8 had a spare, and Brent ran it right down. It's looking like it's going to be a powersupply on the sonicwall, should be able to fix it for around $60, with any luck.
Hammer, meet head of nail :happy088 oh wow oh dang oh wow W00T! to the being back up Sucks for the $$$, though that's just a fraction of what an entire new unit would be. Fortunately we keep the subscription or whatever going on maintenance for ours, especially since I had all 3 units die last year.
I did not read the name of this software the way it was intended. http://www.portablefreeware.com/index.php?id=1636
Just how was it intended? Either that's one colossal program name FAIL or it's a poorly disguised virus/ spambot/ make-your-computer-go-explodey thingy.
2 "p"s, as in: peepee? two-piece? loopy toopy whoopy hoopy? (have no idea, ran out of other 2"p"s, and had to have 3 things in my list)
I would be rather uncomfortable installing such software. Based on the name, I don't even want to know how/where you call for technical support.
