Wow! This is the first time that I am seeing this and it's 2 months past this original announcement. My question is what do they mean by a suitable replacement?

 

I didn't quite understand that message at first-had to re-read. Right off the bat it looked to me like Fine was history.

 

It will be interesting to see how the new soap will be.

 

Will be interested. I understand their original supplier went under and apparently they have another company stepping up.

 

I guess that it will be a different name brand.

 

It'll probably be called "Acceptable" lol(get out your thesaurus and look up the word fine...many alternatives for that baby).

 

Thanks, Perry. I did not care for the Reserve Base. Too gooey. The latest base is called Excelsior and I have a tub, but have yet to try it out. Details to follow. I get a bit frustrated with soap makers that are constantly "updating" their formula. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I agree with the constant formula updating. It's like they made a mistake with each "new idea" so they try another "new idea". Then THAT becomes a mistake. And on and on.

 

I'm sure it will still be under the "Fine" name. Looks like it will be just a different soap maker.
