Is that kind of like a gummy fish, but even less effective?

I might end up having to retire Dandy Dog. :( Apparently, the original photo is copyrighted.

I wouldn't do anything, just yet. I'm right in assuming you haven't made any money off of good ol' Dandy, correct?

He's provided no proof other than the flickr acct. For all you or I know he's a total stranger who's hoping to cash in on your success with a public image.

Even if it is his property, there's a strong argument to be made that the image *is* in the public domain, which may be why he's being so cool about it.

Point= don't take it down just yet. If he comes to you with stronger proof then do so. But not yet. We like the Dandy too much!

Yeah, the owner of Toby (Dandy Dog's real name) has already said he enjoys the pictures. If the photographer says I have to take them down, then I will. Like you said, I haven't made any money of the pictures, and besides, I'm pretty sure I'd be okay anyway because of the changes I made to the picture.

I've been okay. Healed up from my accident last year, sprained my ankle this year (and almost 100% on that now), and been busy. But things are fine, thank God. How have you been?

So this archive thing... I don't like it. I kept hitting User CP at the top of the page today to see my subscribed threads. There were no responses in the How's Your Day Thread. Odd, I thought. I only now realized that the thread I'm subscribed to is not this one, but the archive. Grrrr.

    jiM! How are you?

Let's plan on me sticking around a little bit more.

    Nope.

Too darn early to be on here. Oh well, we are taking the baby back down John Hopkins today for another ultra-sound at 9am, a three hour kidney function test at 11am, and then to see the urologist at 3pm. Yeah, all day at the hospital. Hope they can get something figured out.

Yeah, it's a little disjointed, and I didn't like the idea at first, but I both understand, and appreciate, this way of doing it.
I like that the archive is still around for reference purposes, and that each week's convos are being added to it so it appropriately keeps growing, and that each week's topics are easier to get to.
It takes some getting used to, but I think it's a good method, overall.

Glad to hear you're healing up - want a Pumpkin Delight? :D

not bad, busy as heckes, looking at adding a part time job to pay all the medical expenses from last year, and put some aside for my daughter's tonsils that need to be removed, but not bad. My elbow has healed up pretty much 100%, still building strength to get back to where it was, but getting there

    Yes, lets

    me neither

Hope they figure it out. All day at the medical facility with invasive observations don't sound like a good day.
(just to clarify, my definition of "invasive observations" is pretty loose - pretty much involves anything being at a doctor's office :D)
