Thanks for the well-wishes. A bad as I felt yesterday, I'm doing much better this morning. It doesn't take to many imperial stouts to feel better :whacky098. The tooth is now more of an ache than a pain. The mild hang-over headache was slightly worse than the tooth. So, I'm myself again and no longer in enough pain to justify whining about it.

FYI - YETI Imperial Stout deserves the 100 rating from ratebeer.com. I've never had such a full-flavored beer.

 

I just ordered a case last night. Way pricey (came out to about $6 per 22oz. bottle)!!! Though it sounds like a truly world class RIS. I had never heard of it before reading your post. Have you ever tried Heavy Seas Peg Leg?

 

imperial stouts are way cool. take forever to make but it sounds like they're worth it.

where do you guys find these beers? do you just go to a local store or do you find them online? I'm in the middle of nowhere and all I can find are Bud-Miller- or Coors products OR waaaay overpriced 6 packs of ale at one store in Alex. And when I say overpriced, I mean $10 a 6 pack and up for anything in the cooler.

 

I'm not in the middle of nowhere, but I can't find any of these beers either. I can find some local IPA, porters, stouts... but never anything that is mentioned on a forum..

 

they rolled pretty good, but what I saw in the pass defense worries me for when they play arkansas, mallett ain't gonna mess up the way that freshman qb for penn state did....however, that don't mean ark. has the advantage, just that they better clear up that problem, cuz it's a serious achilles heel right now

 

There is a huge beer store near my house. They are well known for being carrying, or at least be able to get, just about anything. They have gotten some very unobtainable bottles of various liquors and beers for me and my late father. BTW, the stuff I just ordered is normally almost $10 per 22oz. bottle. Buying by the case majorly reduces the price though.

I was so looking forward to dinner. When I picked up our weekly veggie share at our C.S.A (Community Supported Agriculture) I got to pick up a small variety of pumpkin with hull-less seeds. I was told I could cook it just like an acorn squash. Evidently they don't cook acorn squash like I do. I don't know if I have ever had a pumpkin taste so :sick007

Oh well... fantasy team is losing royally. So things are quite status-quo.
