    Fat Friday

    Razor: Gillette 195 Adjustable (D3)
    Blade: Personna Platinum Chrome
    Brush: The Chalk Monster
    SS: MWF
    AS: Spanish Aqua Velva

    It's been a lazy day today, right down to picking the gear. Fat Friday is kind of a no brainer.

    I know several 30DCers have given up on Gillette adjustables. They have a special place in history but I can see why people move on to bigger and better as they learn.

    It was another low stress shave without working too hard at perfection. Actually as I feel my face just now I did better than I thought, but I didn't really work at it. Relaxing and stress free.

    Great shave Evan! I own 4 vintage Gillette razors, and 3 are adjustable. I don't use them too often, but when I do, then I get good shaves.

    I'm on here as much as I am on other social media so... I will post this here and see what happens. On Facebook I posted how thankful I am for my family. It's true. I am thankful for the most important people in my life.

    I'm also thankful for a hobby that takes my mind off my stresses for a few minutes everyday. I'm thankful for a group of guys to discuss shaving and just about anything else with whenever needed. This hobby wouldn't be nearly as much fun without you guys.

    This group brings me joy! And I'm 100% thankful for that. #GiveThanks

    Note: I've been challenged to make social media my own thankfulness journal for the next 7 days. I'll include it with my SOTD post, after today ;)

    Beautiful thoughts, Evan! You are truly a valued member here. Sometimes we do get carried away on this thread, but it is necessary because we need to de-stress.     Awesome shave Evan! you have any troubles with you Aqua Velva leaking? maybe my cap is just faulty on my vintage bottle but if my bottle gets turned upside down or shaken up, some of the aftershave seeps out a little bit.

    I don't have any issues with leaking. Mine isn't vintage. It's just imported. I bet you could make a new seal easily enough.
