That Barbasol! Can that still be purchased or is it discontinued?

Thank you sir. Sadly, I don't get more than three or four good shaves from the Fhs-10. And I find it harsh and not all that efficient. I need to try the Feather carbon steel version or maybe even a de-spined Gem.

No need to waste money on the feather carbon steel. Complete garbage. If you want to try one anyway let me know. I think I have some laying around.

The despined Gem rocks. I have several videos using them.

I think the Musk is gone. I have not seen it in awhile. It is close to AV mist but to me better smelling.

    Omega 11126 boar
    Granado Shave Bar
    ATT SE1
    Schick Proline [9 ]
    Pitralon Classic A/S Lotion

My second use of this soap, lathered up on the bar and got a nice enough lather. The problem is that it quickly dissipates during a Shave, so both the Brush And Face need constant refreshing. Rather a shame as the scent is long lasting and the lather does seem to facilitate a good Shave.

I'M breaking this post back out... Ive moved and I had to pack all my shaving stuff... I'M moving internationally so I really had to downsize.. Everything, not just shave stuff.

Long story short, unpacking I pulled this out and wanted a stroll down memory lane. Boom! This really is one of the all time BEST shavers! I've used it every day for the past 3 weeks.

Thank you again @Karl G!! This is my Highlander Razor, if there could be only one.

Thank you, Gary. I was uninspired with the photo, but the shave was awesome. Gatlinburg doesn't get much press, but this fragrance rivals Declaration Grooming's "Darkfall" as a quintessential Southern US autumn fragrance. Highly recommended.

Razor: Gem Push button- Mfg 1958-65, lower mid range, I can crank out excellent shaves with beautiful looking razor.
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (2) Excellent blade, very sharp, great longevity, smooths out nicely & predictable. Excellent $ Per/Sh.
Brush: Yaqi lucky dice 26mm tuxedo knot, excellent lather creator with a lot more cloud like soft tips with a wee bit more back bone than the 24 mm Yaqi tuxedo knot, enjoy them both a lot.
Soap: Gillette Pure & Remnants of tabac- excellent combo IMO, fragrance and lather qualities. Gillette has a nice scent IMO.
Pre shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG + pickups.
Post shave: Razorock blue barber with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBs + no irritation + no weepers= [IMG]Excellent shave with my Gem Push button with a coated gem blade.

It had you written all over it from the day I got it - which is probably why I never used it and kept it in it’s NOS condition :happy088: Sometimes you get what you deserve :eatdrink047:
