thank you Myles..it was acquired near nos,so i use it very little to preserve the finish,plus i have nickel versions that shave the same.enjoy your day as well ..

Happy Saturday Everyone. The SV Desert Vetiver scent is fantastic. It has the vetiver note but it is green and fresh. SV soaps just work well for me. This morning was the 9th consecutive shave with the Merica. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. A splash of Fine Green Vetiver and I am off to run some errands and tick off a few things on the "To Do List". I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

I was too lazy and used the same setup as my last shave. Everything worked well. Only did a 2 passer with no touchups for a BBS - shave without any drama. Applied a liberal dose of the matching aftershave to finish. I am off to meet Joe C for breakfast at our usual diner. Have a great day guys!

PS I used the same photo from my previous shave. Lol!

 

Thank you guys. Myles, vetiver is one of my favorite scents. I like all the different types from fresh and green scents to the dark wet earth scents.

 

Nothing wrong with recycling photos and sticking with the same setup. I hope you have a wonderful Saturday Joe.

Avery nice, close and comfortable shave this morning with the first straight that I added to my den. I picked up the TI in 2002. I used it sporadically until a little over three years ago due to a lack of confidence in my technique. Eventually, I mustard up the courage to forge on.

SWMBO loved the smoothness but is not a fan of the Small Batch scent. I like it, so it stays in the den.
This morning I will be joining our friend Joe, @Trigger, for breakfast at our local diner.
