It doesn't matter which way i use the humble palmolive classic shave stick , it never fails to provide me with a super protective slick lather leaving a good post shave feel. Superb stuff!.
second outing with the Katana/Euromax Platinum half blade duo performing with smooth efficiency.
Another wonderful 2 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing the shave off with a small dollop of Wilko ~ Men's Moisturiser.

    Thx. Been busy.

    So let’s see....
    2.5 hour breakfast meeting,
    No grits in sight,
    Two over 55 ‘Islanders’,
2-3 pots of New York Joe, for the Joe team,
    40-50 minutes of filter time.
With arrival and departure buffers, that could mean 3-4 bathroom breaks each.
I know it is the crazy year of 2020, but I’m gonna suspect that bathroom breaks are still a team event for for ‘gals only’ in the great Northeast...so you’re safe.
    Sounds fun.

So today is catch up on paperwork the boss dumped on me day. Just found out it’s also fire drill day. Love seeing the truck in action pumping a little water!
The shave this morning was good. I am not much on newer stuff but the Starling does a good job. I used the OC plate as usual. The Lustray spice is a nice Bay Rum type scent. Very old school and fresh!

SOTD SUNDAY MORNING, NOVEMBER 22, 2020

Great combination shave this morning as we prepare an early Thanksgiving send off for my stepson this afternoon prior to his visit to his girlfriend’s parents who don’t believe the Covid plague is real. In any case he has accepted that he will have to shelter in place for two weeks uponn his return. This year we’ll have Thanksgiving twice. Once today, and then again on Thursday with my clan pod.

The shave was excellent this morning and featured the Saito SK3 7/8 for my mug and my Schick E Type for the noggin. The Viking Silvertip Badger is just a great brush and easily generated the two types of lather that I like - a thinner, wetter, slick lather for the mug, and a thicker, yogurty lather for the dome. The three pass (WTG, ATG, XTG) mug shave was a pleasure. The following two pass (ATG, ATG) dome shave checked all the boxes as well. I feel clean, velveteen and refreshed.

RAZOR: Saito SK3. 7/8 (Mug), Schick E Type (Dome)
    BLADE: Proline B-20 Injector
PREP: Cold water rinse followed by a scrub with Argan Oil
    BRUSH: Viking Silvertip Badger
    SOAP: Mitchell’s Wool Fat
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with brush squeezings followed by Humphreys Lilac WH. Finished with Pre de Provence Bergamot & Thyme Balm.

Not to much worse than the straights.
