I have the same one you showed in WTB. For me, it shaves as good as any other Gillette tech, including the Pre-War tech.
Short answer Gillette never made a bakelite razor head for civilian production, if it says Gillette on the razor head it is military issue. I've owned one I think they are more aggressive than a standard tech pre or post war but wouldn't go out of the way to buy one as a user razor. Nostalgia, collectible reasons or you still want one for personal experience usage are a different story.
I have a old type that says property of US government. So I’m just looking for one from WW2 to go with the WW1 old type.
Some of the Conrad Clix razors look similar but you can tell for sure since they are branded as Clix.
