I haven’t tried the Floid Blue either, Perry, but the Reserve Cool is a great scent. Andrew thinks the Epsilon is close to the Reserve as well. If you like that Blue Barbershop, the soap is on sale at IB for $3 right now.

 

I like the Palmolive cream, Danny, but the soap stick is quite a bit better, imho. Very cheap, but increasingly tough to find though.

 

I’ll see if I can find you a little room on the Seahawks bandwagon, Joe...

 

Well...I just received an email tonight from The Razor Company stating the Palmolive sticks are back in stock for $3.99. I’ve placed 3 orders with them this year and they always get the order out the door fast.

I hear you. Our old house has 10ft ceilings throughout. When I’ve redone ceilings from a step ladder all day I can barely move the next morning.

Another premature rumour of the Palmolive stick’s demise? It is starting to sound like Polsilver...until it was true.

As has been mentioned already a few times, Barry, the Palmolive stick is awesome. Great job with the Katana as well.

I have never contemplated ordering a wooden brush, but that Riva is amazing. Reverse enabling engaged!

Love the look of the Starling and the case, too. So few modern Gem razors, really.

Very nice, Jeff. How do you get your prolines into an E type? Did you load into a different cartridge?

A great shave, Joe. I may have to give my Red Tip another chance. I just didn’t find it that different from other Gillette TTOs.

I think I was fooled by rumours as well as Connaught not even showing it on the list anymore. Ironically I just placed my first Fendrihan order in a few years (they still had L’Orange Noir pucks) but didn’t even think to look for the Palmolive. 3 sticks will last me forever, anyway.
