    Post:

Cold Water Face Rinse./Homemade peppermint lavender, eucalyptus, + Tea Tree essential Oils Witch Hazel Mixture./Pashana ASL./Baylis & Harding ~ Sandalwood & Amber ASB./Oud 24 Hours EDP.

    Greetings,

Another new eclectic shave set up to start the weekend.

Carrying on with the Katana SE razor/Euromax Platinum half blade duo for another week after the comfortable shaves that i had last week.

I haven't used the Rainbow Brown synthetic (Faux Horse) for a while it works wonderfully with either soap or cream 'as do all my yaqi synthetics', whipping up a lather in no time... I now have three yaqi synthetic brushes and each one has it's own character, the Rainbow Brown synthetic (Faux Horse) was a christmas present from my siblings last year bought purely because they liked the rainbow handle.

On first appearance i thought it was too big? and was going to be a lather monster? both of which was the complete opposite to my doubting thoughts. The brush holds the lather wonderfully and has a lovely 'face feel' very like my natural horsehair brushes and isn't awkward or feels too big to use for me after a few shaves it quickly became a firm favourite in my brush rotation...It doesn't just look good, overall it's a fantastic brush...A superb addition to my humble synthetic shaving brush collection.

A enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups near BBS shave with no errors to report...Finishing to the shave off with a few generous squirts of Oud 24 Hours EDP to the pulse points.

My face is feeling super smooth and smelling like a real ladies man.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

I can honestly say that this is one of the most surprising posts I have ever seen in my time on TSD!!

I'm sure that you'd absolutely love the GEM style razors. Particularly the 1912 (they're just so damned pretty) and the ruthless MMOC!

I have only ever used them with the PTFE blades because they are all that is readily available here in the UK.

I'm just posting to offer my condolences. Your mother sounds like a remarkable woman, and she is truly lucky to have a family such as your to love and support her in these times!

I would also like to say thank you. To hear the way you deal with situations such as these - the dignity and the class that you have shown are inspirational. Thank you, Clint.

    Thank You, Jason.

    I'm going back to basics.
    Digging to my roots.
After years of searching the perfection.
I feel very little differences with great products I've learned with.
But, now I know what I love and what the premium products are.
And I can have best of the two worlds: a product perfect for me, at a really good price.

With a long and light handle (aluminium), EJ DE89 is a hell of a razor.
Works like a charm in the daily routine, but can easily afford a 2-3 days shave.

And the supercheap (in Italy) Omega S-Brush is a great tool.
Effective, easy-to-use, nice. A good choice, even in SOTDs.

Thanks, Jason. I am going to use a new soap today, but then I am going to finish my container of Baume.be. I sold my old MC with a very lovely Best Badger knot and acquired this one with the two-band SilVERTiP (Super Badger) hair, yet you will notice that the handle says Best Badger. I learned from my friend Georg, that about 10 years ago, Simpson would occasionally get this gorgeous Super Badger hair and set it in handles, which had already been labeled. This is why you see brushes from the "Grey Box" era "mis-matched", so to speak. You are correct, the grip of this brush stands out and despite its lack of flowing lines, has great ergonomics.

Great shaves, Blair! What are your thoughts on the Tradere? Mine is nothing out of the ordinary! Granted it was one of the first modern artisan designs 8 years ago, but now it’s really nothing special IMO.

Great shave, Barry, but being a retired data scientist, I have to ask about your comment, “smelling like a real ladies man”, did you get the SWMBOSOA?
