    Great shave Paul! On subsequent passes, I add water to my lather so it doesn't dry out with each application.

    Terrific shave Maestro! Razors have different quirks and that's why it isn't a one technique fits all shaves. Your example indicates why it is important to make adjustments for any razor. Have a great day my friend!

    Great kit, James! Fatip are good solid razors. I own a Piccolo, which Muhle initially relabeled as the first R41s back in 2008. It only lasted three years till they came out with the revered 2011 model.

    I would use a metal polisher like Flitz or Maas.

    I’ll say this out of earshot of SWMBO, but I love this razor! Easily the smoothest shaving and best balanced straight in my den.
