Outstanding shave, Joe! Glad you had such a great experience with Arko. Next time, rub the puck on your face like you would a shave stick. Then see what a great face lather you get.

Thanks Andrew! I am a traditionalist. I don't believe in using a puck as a shave stick unless the soap is very difficult to lather like Williams. Arko is so easy to lather that I find that it's not necessary to go into shave stick mode to use it.

Glad to see that you have had a similar newcomer's experience with Arko. It lathers so easily and is so slick and protective! Did you notice any drying of the skin post shave (that's another common complaint against Arko)? I didn't notice any, but with prolonged use may in the future...

Thanks, James! The postshave isn't that great, but that's ok with me. I can always add an aftershave balm.

Up and moving early this morning. I have to drive Asha to the airport for her flight to Phoenix. A nice drama free shave was the ticket for this morning. Luckily this lineup delivers the goods. Mike's Bay Rum shave soap smells fantastic and works even better. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

    November 2020 Recap

I really enjoyed participating in the 30DC this month. Three razors left the shave den this month with 2 new razors added. The Merica razor was an instant hit while the Parker Adjustable Injector is on the BST. As always the highlight of the month was the friendship. exhibited in the thread. @MrEE posts served as a great reminder of all the things I have to be thankful for and that I need to do a better job showing my thankfulness. I look forward to participating in the thread next month.
