Two years ago, I bought my Dovo Special brand new. Did you buy your Dovo brand new? I consider a vintage razor to be at least 50 years and older.

Great Karve shave, Danny! With respect to your comment about the brevity of this month, one of the things I've noticed with my increasing 70+ trips around the sun is that the more recent trips seem much faster than the earlier ones! Enjoy your shaves

I bought mine new five or six years ago at my oldest son’s urging. He still feels bad about my accident. I consider vintage to be anything no longer being manufactured.

Well, we clearly have a different view of vintage.
I'll put it another way. A 60 yr old woman is vintage and a 20 yr old woman is not.

Lovely wood themed shave, Jason. I know you profess to not do anything lighting-wise, but it’s always bang on! :)

Depends on the utility criterion we’re talking about here, Joe! I’ll just leave it at that as an old married guy! ;)

    A3 Gillette Red Tip

MrEE Danger anodized aluminum handle w/30 mm Maggard's SHD two-band fan
    Mike's Hungarian Lavender
Alum, Witch Hazel, USB & Almond Oil
    CC Bay Rum & Aramis

2+ passes this morning resulted in a near-BBS mug to start the week. Stretching my skin using alum on my fingertips always improves the closeness and comfort. @Paul Turner I rewetted and reapplied my lather and several times during the shave. Doing this encourages me to shave more slowly and mindfully. I don't have to rush the shave before the lather dries out.

I rinsed my face with warm water, applied alum, and let it sit for a couple of minutes while I cleaned up everything. The alum was fairly quiet today, and I find this helps with the post-shave feel. After I go through my post-shave routine, I pat my face with a dry towel to remove any excess, and I'm ready to go.

Have a fantastic Monday, gentlemen. Grace and Peace.
