Friend of mine likes Jimmy Johns.. I have never tried it., maybe next trip to Tallahassee.

On a better note I have new shocks all the way around the ford and a few other things done.. it should keep me going till I get the Dodge into the shop.

gRRRRRRRRR damn thing. think it is the fuel pump again. it was throwing some sensor codes so fixed that.. the o2 and a ground problem those are easy.. it just will not run sometimes.. spent 3 hours in town broke down yesterday.. it starts the just spits sputters pops.. when it gets ready to go it will.. and will usually run good till you slow down then back to no power and spit sputter and such.... now it is getting to where it will not start sometimes at all. but then again over 200000 and 10 years old so prolly time to have a few problems.

 

Was involved in an incident yesterday that became a media event. It's disheartening to see just how wrong they can get the story. Aren't reporters and editors supposed to fact check before releasing news? I'm in no way anti technology or progress, but I do blame the internet in this instance. Everybody is in such a damn hurry to get something out...anything out...that good journalism goes out the window. My mom was a journalist and so was her husband. They were meticulous about fact checks and cross referencing. I'm not naive but it is a sad state of affairs, and it's not the first time I've encountered this. We have a generation of lazy journalists out there who want to serve up the news as easily as we can access it. The free Press is supposed to be a democracy's watchdog. If we can't rely on it, we're in trouble.

And just as a disclaimer this is not a so called "liberal media" vs. "conservative media" issue in my mind. I try to stay out of those arguments as they are pointless. I'm pretty much lumping them all together here with my disgust.
