Yeah, I wouldn't have paid full price for my Sony. The support is awesome, but I never had problems out of my Acer laptop, which was cheaper than the Vaio's full price (again not the price I paid).
The temperatures were just awesome last night for sleeping, with the windows open. Now if I could just sleep better it would be even greater. Today was errand day. We are getting ready for a trip to see my wife's son family in Texas. They were kind enough to buy bus tickets for us. We leave next Monday AM. I picked up at the dollar store a small grater with a bin. I though would great for grating shave sticks.
It is from what I have seen I dont have the i7 one but we have to imacs and the 17 inch pro and it does well with the battery.
Okay, I just spent the last hour reading reviews of this machine. It is very expensive! But, I can swing it right now. A few different testers saw nearly 8 hours of battery life out of it.

BACON!!! I've owned a used mac and went to a mac-only university and been neighbors to/ friends with multiple mac fanboys. I know they're good machines. But they're also major league hipster status symbols. Just like BMWs/ Mercedes are good cars but also status symbols. I can't afford one and I don't care about being cool. Comes with being a dad to two little ones. +1 on the Asus. and Sony, unlike Mac, goes on sale every now and then. Acer's basically the same thing as Asus if I understand right.

I don't know.. its kind of scary to think of what Micah will photoshop with that combination. I can't believe (OK I can) all the steps Facebook makes you go through to deactivate your account.. The plug is pulled. Now, what accounts can I delete next?
