    Great design but the slots in the base plate are a little to wide and the tabs on top plate need to be a tad bit wider. It is just a dimensional problem. If the tolerances were tightened up it would be a great head. You just have to pay attention to the blade alignment which is a little frustrating. I'm going to give it another run in the morning.

    This is a chatty and very fun group. We have a few turners on here. More than a few craftsmen working in various mediums. We try to keep it shaving related, but we're not rule followers so...

    Christmas Eve has more than just pine. There's a few spices in there as well. Christmas Trees and Christmas Candles. It's fun.

    Thanks Jason! There will be a few repeats this month, but I have more than I thought I would. :) Plating them myself has resulted in a larger collection than I originally planned. I need to offload a few.

    Yes, fun times. I read about 1/3 of it. :) My 8 year old needed some cuddle time and it won't be too much longer before she grows out of that phase...

    Last month I tried ATG as the first pass....... :angry019: it was not pleasant.

    We will see, I am not sure if it makes a difference but I am curious.

    I am even happier with the Omega Speedmaster Professional than I expected.... but..... I am researching. Glashutte Original Pana, Seiko spring drive from the seasons series, Helberg CH-1 or a world timer are at the top of my list.

    You caught me, :(, I was trying to avoid to decadent hardware focus and distract you with my crazy idea.:D

    It is the small Kent, a BK-8. I will break out the BK-12 monster this weekend. I start in the bowl and the before I have the lather 100% the way I like it I finish by face lathering. The idea is that it will help prep my stubble for the steel.
