thank you Jason .i would think so.i had a gold U.S new deluxe criterion set i passed along to help finance this one.this brit belmont is silver plated where U.S versions are chromium plated and gold.i had an even rarer 2 piece brit gold version set but it was too nice to use..literally mint so i traded it for something different. the majority of my collection is british ..

Jason-it is a new formulation that I believe came out in 2019. According to the B & M website the description is as follows:

The original incarnation of Dickens was our very first holiday scent, and still one of our very favorites! But we felt that it needed a little bit of an update, so we toned down the sugar and reworked the cherry for something a little bit more grown-up, but still wonderfully cheerful and festive.

 

No...this from a set I bought this summer. Thought I'd throw a few pieces in the shave pic for in the morning. Mix things up a little.

Agreed, Andrew. I have a bottle of Alt-Innsbruck on deck and two more in storage. West Coast Shaving was out of stock for ages. When they restocked, I grabbed two at 10% discount. I also stocked up on some Fine products at a 3o% discount. I've got unopened bottles of aftershave and EdT sitting in a cool, dark basement cabinet next to some bourbon bottles. All juice here gets stored the same.

I'm currently using up 'odds and end' aftershaves. At that point, my AS rotation will be Alt-Innsbruck, Fine Platinum, and Fine L'Orange Noir. Those are my three favorites, and I think they'll work with my different soaps. With a small AS rotation, I can keep fresh bottles in use. I'm literally using up AS and soaps that I've had open for years. I'm slowly digging myself out of the pit.

 

That sounds like a solid plan, Charlie! I'm surprised you don't have any Tabac aftershave.
I haven't yet reached the point at which I am ready to pare down to a limited regular rotation. Perhaps I am still determining what I really like the most.
