Below is a list of the Black Friday specials from Stirling. Shave Soaps & Aftershave Splashes We started a bit of a tradition a few years ago where we craft scents specifically for Black Friday. These are scents you won't any other time of the year. Some of them have been such successful favorites that we bring them back later as a full line (I'm looking at you, Triumph!) while others fade gracefully into the memory books. This year is like that but THERE'S MORE so keep reading for the details. If you're new to our Black Friday releases, this part is for you. We offer 3oz Shave Soaps that are hot-poured into our signature green 4oz jars. We also have 2oz Aftershave Splashes in green glass bottles with an orifice reducer and silver cap (as pictured). Both Shave Soap and Aftershaves are $8 each and they are available in the following scents: Alighieri (Based on Dior Farhenheit) Evergreen Forest Iced Coffee Iniquity for Her (Based on Gucci Guilty for Women) Iniquity for Him (Based on Gucci Guilty Pour Homme) Lavender Sage Scarn (Based on Dior Sauvage) Stirling Green (Based on Polo Green) Tangerine **Please note that while these ARE limited-time scents, we have plenty in stock. **Please see the product pages for scent descriptions**

It was an Executive Man kind of day today. Pre Shave: Hot shower and Neutrogena face wash Razor: Merkur Clone Blade: Israeli Viking Sword (7) Brush: Fine Synthetic Soap: Stirling Executive Man Balm: Nivea Splash: Stirling Executive Man EDT: Stirling Executive Man Beard Oil: Stirling Executive Man (I used Executive Man bath bar and Shampoo bar as well.)
Today the lathering was ... super !!! https://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/sos-december-2020.64941/page-10#post-1895051
That Double Duck boar knot is calling me. But it’s $85 (where I’ve seen it). Are you paying for the quality of the knot or bristles? Or just the whole package? Thx,
I have three samples and haven't used them much, so I don't feel like I can offer much opinion. Do you feel they don't project much?
Not a fan of the knot at all. Way to tall. Can't face lather with agitation. A painter only. Going to replace the knot this month Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
I’ve only tried the Executive Man EDT, but I’ve been thoroughly impressed. I’ve worn it regularly for about 4 months, and one spray lasts all day. I have a small collection of colognes and EM is easily the most powerful and long lasting of the bunch! As always, YMMV applies.
Christmas Season, Day 9. Stirling Spice and Old Spice to smell like I should. Prep: Hot Shower and Bloom/Lather Building Water Soap: Stirling Spice Razor: Carbon Shaving Co Cx-316L (Original, +, and ++)/Merkur Mustache and Eyebrow Razor Blade: Dorco ST-301 (3)/Merkur Mustache and Eyebrow Blade (9) Brush: Stirling Badger AS: Old Spice (US) ASB: Stirling Spice EdC: Old Spice (US) This shave always makes me miss my parents, grandparents, and my uncle.
I've only tried Executive Man and Sandpiper. Executive Man didn't seem to have much staying power, but Sandpiper definitely does. It hangs around most of the day.
I've been a huge fan of Stirling since I started using soaps. I've slowly been trying most of their scents through after shave samples. I may have a new favorite scent. Triumph for the win. I didn't know it was based on Invictus. My wife and I went on a cologne hunt a few years ago and YSL L'Homme and Invictus were at the top of the list. Evidently I'm partial to the cologne scents. My favorites are: Sharp Dressed Man Triumph Executive Man Barbershop Sandpiper Dunshire Intrepid Man might just make the cut too.
Just a follow on the EDT. To me it just doesn’t seem like it has the depth - full bodied fragrance - of the aftershave. Seems backwards, right? It does last longer, but I’m not sure it’s worth it. I’ll typically reserve it for non shave days. I’d like to add here that Rob is at the top of the list in customer service and that his variety of products is exceptional. Not my favorite performer, but probably the best bang for buck in the biz.
I got my Black Friday goodies a few days ago and this was my first use of the lot. The soap was enjoyable and I like the scent. It performed great as usual for Stirling. The splash on the other hand reacted quite differently with my body chemistry and I'm not sure if I like it yet. Wholly molly talk about staying power though. I shaved about 10:00 a.m. and when I woke up the next day at 5:30 I could still smell it. I ordered the Scarn after I got the bath bar and I am hoping it lasts as long as this one.
