    Camping shave....3 full passes, no issues. Dolphin smooth again. Incredible Proraso Red fragrance. Mmm.

    Converting the AC DX was just removing the scales (one bolt) then wrapped the handle with leather cord.

    Don't give up on the thread, Chris. You don't have to read every message. Turn on notifications and read replies and mentions, skim for SOTD posts, and when you can/want read the last 20 messages or so. Replies contain the message they're replying to and it's pretty easy to find and backtrack through the more meaningful conversations.

    It's a fun group which is why and because it's so busy.

    Oh, I hope I didn't give that impression. I love the thread. I just don't want to miss anyone's post of their daily shaves. There are some beautiful razors here, and I love effective tools, including those that create smooth faces.

    well said..i have lots of time at present and little if any communication with the rest of the world.i love hanging here and contributing what i can.if 10 people asked me about gillette stuff i would try to give 10 clear answers,when i don't i research more..win win..when i do resume work i will be here a few minutes less at least,:D..but i love it and the folks here..so short of the bums rush i am not changing a thing or going anywhere ..cheers gents..:eatdrink047:
