i will add a little water to the puck if i haven't used it for a while and let it soak while i soak the boar brush and fit the blade to razor, usual prep.i drain any water left on the puck.i make sure the brush is damp .not dripping.,giving it a good squeeze and a flick or 2.i then swirl the brush tips lightly on the puck but for a good 30-45 seconds, very little bubbles if any, just a creamy residue on the puck, checking for a good load once or twice.at first i transfered to the bowl, buling a creamy paste and working it,then i add drops of water slowly and work it some more.when i get the consistency i want ,it's off to the races.i have experienced a little dissipation once in a while but was my error.it is a little finicky compared to others.we have very soft water in this region.one can lather most anything here..

Thanks Jeff! I'm over the crappy shave now . I'm stubborn enough to get this to lather but on the same hand have little to no patience...if that makes sense.

Great shave, Clint! Glad you’re enjoying the Tradere! Mine’s currently on the way to California. Enjoy your time with mom! You’re blessed to still have her on this side of the grass. SWMBO and I are off to see my youngest grandson, Nate. Two and a half year olds are a hoot! Enjoy your day! :)

Most definitely, Patrick! I spend a fair amount of time building my MWF lathers. I would estimate that I spend at least three minutes doing so! I wish you success on your MWF journey. The payoff is well worth it! :)

Great shave and video Joe! I watched the video on the 65 inch inch TV with my son. If you think that blade is big you should see it on a big TV. Could I make one suggestion for future videos which I hope you will do? The window that is is directly behind in the video needs to be covered somehow. It is creating a lot of back light. Keep um coming Joe!
