Early morning shave, afternoon post. A super smooth shave, excellent post shave feel. Three passes with one weeper.

Beautiful morning for outside chores. This afternoon, I will be getting the living room ready for the Christmas tree. This will make the Mrs. happy. It is her favorite holiday. Have a great day gentlemen

I understand completely. I have that, "This isn't going to beat me" feeling as I work the same issue over and over, but get more and more frustrated with every iteration. :) That attitude gets stuff done, but finds ways to improve. Have a great day Patrick!

Great shave and MWF lathering algorithm presentation, Evan! You’re spot on about about what we think we do and what we actually do are different. Enjoyed your summary! Have a great day!.

    Sunday's Shave

    '56 Gillette Red Tip
    Personna Platinum Chrome (4)
    WCS Beacon Synthetic
    Proraso Red Shaving Soap
    Dickinson's Witch Hazel
    Proraso Red Aftershave

After showering, I realized I had not picked out my shaving gear beforehand as I usually do. So, I grabbed what was on the counter - Proraso Red. It was my first matching soap/aftershave set that I owned and it's still a favorite. Since learning about proper lather hydration, I find that I enjoy some of my older soaps even more than I did back then. The shaves are now better and my face thanks me for it.

2 passes with the Red Tip provided a very comfortable and efficient shave this morning. My face feels smooth and irritation free.

Ah, ok. I thought I read that you contacted Peter about unscented soaps in the Kaizen base. Somehow I remembered that he made this one a little while back, and thought of you. It's not Kaizen base, however I'm certain it performs well. Nothing wrong with sticking to good ol' MWF though.
I'm just reading through the thread (the best I can), so I'm not really back, per se. I'll try to keep up a little better and maybe even post a shave sometime. Although I can't keep up here, I still get a shave in each day. Hope things are well for you, Jeff!
