I think you could apply that thought to a blade or a razor, as well. I was a bad shaver and latherer when I first started. Thought I was allergic to lanolin, when all along, it was too much pressure from my razor. Live and learn.

Sometimes, it could be brush burn from the natural hairs when you scrub lather on your face.

Finished this second double-duty for this month. I could have waited for this evening, but I wanted to shave with Mad Max sooner. I just like shaving.

Anyway, I only did 2 passes to give me BBS on cheeks and IBSS++ on neck area. Did a fool's pass and got an insignificant weep that cold water took care of it, but dabbed some styptic to make sure that a reappearance would occur. Gave myself a double hit of the aftershave and feel refreshed.
My next double duty shaves, (2 shaves using the same hardware and software) I will be using my Parker shavette with a Feather 1/2 DE blade. This will be my first time using a Feather blade.

I had to get in on the Mitchell’s Wool Fat bandwagon today. Late shave but a great shave.

Originally I grated my puck of MWF and pressed it into a sealed container.

I loaded the soap from the container onto a damp synthetic for today's shave. It was loaded heavy and whipped up good.

The lather was very nice and thick.

Started the shave with the solid bar GC SB 0.84 and a Rapira but the shave was just too tuggy. Switched the blade to a second run Astra.....much better. I just did two passes today because I will shave in the morning. The Fat is good stuff and has never give me any problems. I think Patrick @9nein9 does not need to give up. I figure Patrick is the kind of man that will not let many things whip him.....especially a little puck of soap. Hang in there Patrick....you can do this!

Thanks Danny! It really was my fault in that the shave on my mustache was close enough. I shouldn't have done the fool's pass with very little invisible stubble. C'est la vie!
