    Happy Monday Everyone. The Paladin Beehive is a fantastic face lathering brush. The knot feels wonderful against the face with just the right amount of scrub. The LEA classic is a fantastic old world soap. The citrus and sandalwood scent is present throughout the shave while being light. I thought about pulling out the Supply Co SE but the Pils 101NL seemed to suck me into giving it a go. The Pils does require solid technique in order to get good results. I must have done my part this morning. Three passes and touch ups ended in a perfect BBS shave. The smoothness of the razor added to the entire experience. A splash of the LEA aftershave and I am ready for work. At least I think I am ready. I hope everyone has a great Monday.

    BAUME.BE~~Simpson 90th Anniversary Astor~~Barbasol Floating Head/Astra~~Clubman Special Reserve
    After my detour with "The Fat", I am back to my focus using the BAUME.BE and my Barbasol FH razor.
    Today's brush is one of 90, that Simpson created to celebrate their 90th     Anniversary.

    The Astor also shares some similarities with the Emperor.

    The Astor has flared bottom and a ring, while the Emperor has a rounded bottom and a lip.
    Size, feel and knot feel almost identical.
    No issues today creating a stupendous, shiny and slick lather.

    Probably finish it up this week.
    If you are a fan of creams, I would take a hard look at this product.
    It ranks up there with the best I have used.
    The Barbasol FH was loaded with a fresh Astra SP. I don't have a lot of these blades
    and interestingly, when I first returned to wet-shaving, I was not a huge fan. :angry032:
    That's Primo whacking his head against the wall, because of his stupidity.
    I can't even name ONE SINGLE blade, assuming it's not defective,
    that doesn't get the job done. NOT ONE.
    Sure, some last longer than others, but that is pretty much the only variable
    that I have come across in the past 7 years.
    Cleared some new real estate this morning. Took the goatee off and left the soul patch.

    While I may not be as handsome as Val Kilmer, my soul patch is better. :cool:
