    Great VC4 shave, Joe! Of all my 5 C Model Auto Strops, the VC4 and the VB2 are the only ones I’m keeping. It’s just an awesome noggin scraper! :)

    Wow, he’s lucky they listened to him. December 7 was always an important day for my father. He refused to buy Japanese products to the end of his days which frequently made things difficult! He lost a lot of friends in battle.

    First shave since Friday earlier this morning. Wasn't able to participate much at all this weekend, either. Anyway, pulled out some more fave products this morning and had a great shave. Excellent razor -generously sent by @jluc as part of what became a trade- that dealt easily with a fave lather. This full scalloped plate is my preferred, I'd say. 3 passes later I was very smooth. Face feel 4 hours later with the CL splash is still excellent. On the @Keithmax scale, I'd say Epic.

    BAUME.BE Shaving Cream
    Jason's 30DC 2019 w/Omega Boar
    J3Customs Kamisori
    Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Star Jelly & After Shave - Malbolge

    Used @jtspartan's 2019 30DC loaded with an Omega Boar this morning....bowl and face lathered BAUME.BE shaving cream into delightful slick lather. Awesome face feel. Up for a 5 day mini focus is a J3Customs Kamisori. 3 passes, first WTG, then 2 opposite XTG passes. 1 upper lip weeper on the first pass, no big worry, stopped on it's own while continuing the remaining 2 passes. XTG passes are performed Out to In (toe up), then In to Out (toe down) legs of an X. All sorts of unorthodox grips used to get the job done. Sometimes a traditional grip, sometimes a hatchet handle grip, sometimes grabbing the blade by the spine. DFS+.....missed a bit from the smiling blade, requires more overlapping strokes to get all the sandpaper. Healthy dose of both PAA's after shave products, Star Jelly, a lightly mentholated unscented gel, then their aftershave & cologne, Malbolge. Awesome wifey approved fragrance.

    You were quick to reply, Perry! I caught my name error, and corrected it, but was just too slow! I love my E Type, but you’re right. You have to pay attention when using them. Mine is just a great headshaver when fitted with a Schick Proline!

    They are really great shavers, Jason! Great shave! I did my dome this morning with mine. I have enough parts to source a second razor albeit with a mild or medium plate and a plain top cap.

    Cool looking, Kamisori, Blair! Great shave! Does it have a traditional asymmetrical Kamisori grind? Just curious. That’s one big blade. Is it an 8/8 or bigger?

    Boy,have I been rackin' up the Clubman products-of late, and in the near future(as you will see in SOTD). Different variations, but Uncle Edouard Pinaud's name is on each product.
