Schick L5, vintage Schick Twin blade, shave 6.

Razor is also known as a Schick Classic and incorrectly as a Paul Revere. This razor was distributed by International Silver but never under their Paul Revere product line. I started out with a single edge blade but the shave was a total disappointment then I switched over to a twin blade. Much better, apparently this razor was designed for twin blades also like the 73 and later Type L razors. The shave and end result was the same as using a twin blade in a L1 produced during the same time frame. It also confirmed the later Type L razors produced in the 80s are in fact the same razor head. End result BBS finish was achieved but a better result can be had with a Type N or any of the Type M adjustables with the same blade.

Very good shave. No complaints so far from the Chinese made DS-Z.O razor (R41 clone). A wonderful evening and shaves to all....

It is a eucalyptus/Spearmint/herbal scent, Paul. Very nice and understated. Unfortunately, for picking one up, it has been 3 years or so since it was available.

Today I asked her what she thought of my shave with the old Eldon straight after honing it more last night, and she thought I was talking about the scent - and she said she liked it now. Ether she was just humoring me, or your right! I like it, but it does get better over time after drying done.

Sergio, The funny thing is, it was my first only only time being to Italy. I search high and low for cannoli and could not find them. Then the night before leaving, we were in the plaza outside the Pantheon and I found them in a bakery. The gentleman told me that they are more regional and popular more in Sicily. I never thought about them being regional and just assumed they were common throughout all Italy. We have a plant in Turin and I hope to get out there again once COVID is gone. We need to have some beverages my friend.
