My phone must be lying. I could have sworn there were posts here earlier that are not here now. Hope everyone is having a tolerable weekend. Went to work and got grading done this morning. Then went to Costco. WTF was I thinking? I know better than ever go near the shopping areas in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. I need another weekend just to recover from that trip. But hey, I was getting frustrated trying to order replacement blades for my Walh trimmer. It doesn't have a usable model number on it anywhere that relates to any of the blades I have found. Costco had a new Wahl trimmer for the cost of replacement blades online. But the rest of the trip was  But yay! I had two packages sitting on my desk when I got home. Goodies from the TSD store and some fountain pens. Woo Hoo... Still facing anger management over that trip.... I wish I lived out in the country. I feel like shooting some trap...
Hmmmm....... nope. It would be a good day for some archery as well. Interestingly enough, same guard on the new Wahl produced a much shorter haircut. Oh well...
Nice. Not regulation trap, but I shot two rounds of wobble trap and a few rounds of skeet today. Started the day off with a nice hike with the dog in Jim Thorpe, PA.
Dark in here..... Hey! unless I missed something that there is some weird math involved when these new stickies are tagged onto the old thread..... We hit 50,000 posts sometime around Wednesday/Thursday! :happy023:happy023:happy023 :bounce:bounce:bounce :eatdrink004:eatdrink013Happy 50K!!!!!:eatdrink004:: :bounce:bounce:bounce :happy023:happy023:happy023
How's Your Day? Oct. 25th - Oct. 31st As we approach the creepy night filled with ghosts and gouls, many (granted mostly children) feel the fear building up within them. Witches, and zombies will roam the streets. Blood will be seen more than any other day of the year. Now, I have one question for you: How's your day?
A little more of a real threat than ghost and gouls. I've been around a few in my day, but thankfully never had one do any damage really close to home. How close did the two come to your place?
It just occurred to me--we haven't discussed picking a Ms. Distraction Halloween yet!!! We must address this egregious oversight immediately. Thus:
Watched the 1941 version of The Wolf Man. Awesome movie. That's how horror movies should be made, though modern audiences wouldn't appreciate its slow pace. Followed it up with American Werewolf in London. The wolfing out scene is awesome--modern CG has nothing on the physical pain that the real-world effects imply.
well, there were a few more than two, but none (that I know of) came within 20 miles of us, but the threat was ever present all evening
If we are VOTING here for Distraction Halloween girl, I pick the last one, in the checkered shirt with the black cat shadow. My, my, my... That's the most serious Distraction since Scarlett Johanson!
