Enabler alert.....Barbasol Floating Head razor incoming.....all this talk, eschewing it's great shave qualities, images and comments, Couldn't resist. Seller's description is 'minty' version with original case and blades....

From memory (if I left someone out, apologies) @Primotenore @jtspartan @jgreenepa are the 30DCr's I remember using the BFH recently/regular rotation.

Posted a WTB over on DFS. Had two responses...in case someone is looking for the BFH, there's still a seller willing to part with his.

One of my peers, a guy I co-ordinate and work with just about every day is out sick with a fever of 104. Several of his in-laws tested positive for COVID-19 about 2 weeks ago. I had lunch with him last week... I'm having psychosomatic symptoms all day today. No fever yet. I hope it stays that way.

I don't know why I'm worried. I have PTO from the 23rd through January 3rd. I'll get sick on the 22nd when I feel obligated to finish my work for the year, and then I'll feel better on January 4th after my PTO is over.

He is improving slowly. Thanks for asking.
He was discharged from the hospital on Nov 30th. He now has 30 days of home healthcare (a nurse comes to the house 3 times a week). He lost so much muscle mass while laying in bed at the hospital that he can barely do anything for himself. Mom is doing all she can for him. I would be over there to help, but I can't take the kids out of school.

 

It will get here someday. It is not your fault and don't sweat it.

Jeff @jgreenepa sent me a package out Saturday. It is the same situation....in route and arriving late.

I overheard a postal worker at the counter of our local post office tell a customer that they could not guarantee a delivery date that they were behind schedule. I figure this will probably be their busiest year.

Great winter warmth image Jason! I started overloading shave brushes also (over the summer). 1 to knock out soaps quicker...but 2 so that I hopefully don't run into lather quality issues.

Very nice shave Jason. I picked up some L'Orange Noir a few weeks ago. It's less abrupt then the RR Son of Zues even though you can tell they are dups of the same scent. Love the shave and the image. Good work.

I agree on loading heavy. I'm inconsistent with the water while loading, but I add water on my face. I use way way more water than when I was bowl lathering. I shave quite wet these days.
