This is what I hate about Microsoft... Making users log on by using CTRL+ Alt+ Del is a fairly straightforward process on XP and earlier. Just pull up user accounts in the control panel, and toggle the option. Win7 Pro? Not so much. Spent 5 minutes with google until I finally found out that you have to open a run box, type "Control Userpasswords2", go to "advanced" tab, then click on require Ctrl-Alt-Del. Why change this? Can someone explain the need in hiding this command? I couldn't find a way there through the GUI, had to actually run a command to get to the obscure setting. Reminds me of the opening scene from Hitchhiker's (3:37 mark): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMoi-nDd6cQ#t=3m37s
Fall Today is beautiful fall day. A brisk breeze, comfortable temperatures. The fall colors are bursting in vibrance.
It is pretty decent weather for building a wikiup, though. I'm really wanting to build a semi-long-term structure for camping in my back yard. Got TWGW's approval for a wattle and daub hut, a wikiup, or small vacation "cabin". Now all I need is to decide on a building style and go for it. I want to build it from what I have available, so I'll probably go with a wikiup or bender. I've got a ton of automotive carpet which would probably make a good insulation layer, and I found my old mailbox to make a small stove out of... Plus, if I build it right, we might be able to use it for halloween next year!
No feel good. If I had any true friends, they would come over and decapitate me now. Absolute misery. Question; Is it normal for utility companies to come over and without even knocking on the door put a ladder on your house? He woke me up, too. I made sure he knew I wasn't happy. He's lucky I have a brain, and I don't have a gun. I thought someone was stealing heating oil.
Sorry, we just pretend to be your friend for the great shave goodies. OK, the truth is we expect you'll be much better in a few days. Perhaps time for a break? Also, a utility doing anything more than reading a meter without knocking is unacceptable in my book.
I suppose....... Of course, I have people breathing down my neck. Who knew shaving was a life-or-death situation? My thoughts exactly.
I maintain a wide variety of weaponry at my house that is good for decapitation, knocking down unwanted ladders, and misc. mayhem. Just ask, and you can borrow any of said items - and what I don't have out right, I can probably make or otherwise acquire. ...just being friendly.
:happy102 I have stuff that could handle the decapitating, just not necessarily self-decapitation. My legs work well for knocking down unwanted ladders. "Mayhem" makes me laugh. Reminds me of those car insurance commercials. Funny. I heard he was dead.
