    A most excellent shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum except for a hotspot on the left hollow of my neck. No residual redness or irritation.

    That's one of the good Bay Rum soaps from B&M. The Excelsior base is not worth purchasing.

    I should have clarified, it's the Bay Rum scent, not the soap base that makes that particular soap not worth purchasing.

    December 10

    Good morning, gents!

    Quick check-in to let you all know my Bride is feeling better. We visited the ER yesterday. She has mild pneumonia, a viral infection, and is taking antibiotics. Her temperature is normal this morning. Hopefully today will be a better day. Thank you all for the prayers and well-wishes.

    My Danger brush, Red Tip, and Tabarian Lavac shave yesterday was delightful. ;) The soap was mostly Tabac with a few added bits of Mike's Hungarian Lavender. I was reminded that Tabac is clearly the best and easiest lathering soap I've ever used. I actually like the scent as well. Thank goodness I have a puck or fifteen in inventory. :D

    We have a doc visit this morning, but I hope to check back later. Have a great day!
