Ugly razor day is coming.

Now I know that it is Decadent December but this Sunday has unofficially been declared Ugly Razor Day.

Only one rule......

Complete a shave this Sunday with the ugliest razor you own and post a shave picture with said razor.

Now it has been said that several in our group does not own a ugly razor. This may be true but they can shave with the least prettiest razor in their den.

Joe @Trigger has been unofficially elected as Judge of this little contest and will announce the winner this Monday morning. I know this is a lot of pressure to put on Joe but the committee has put their trust in Joe and it is non negotiable.

What does the winner receive? Nothing....well maybe bragging rights that they have the ugliest razor of this crew.

Alright guys...get in the backs of your drawers, shoe boxes or wherever you keep your junk and show some love to a razor that you might have forgot about, just plain neglected or you are ashamed that you still own.

Oh dear, it’s not even close to Mayhem, and you’re pushing me to pull out my savage, French Spadson! I’ve never come away bloodless from any encounter with that beast! December Focus

BAUME.BE~~dubl duck #4~~Barbasol Floating Head/Polislver
Staying focussed has consequences.
1) You actually learn the product and its idiosyncrasies.
2) In the case of software, you actually finish a product!
I have been successful, especially this fall, finishing product.
Today was my final shave with the BAUME.BE.
The lather was created with the dubl duck#4 and as you can see, was a rousing success.

From the very first shave, I was never disappointed in the BAUME.BE.
And while it won't be seen in Primo's den, doesn't mean it isn't worth a purchase.
Hasta la vista...baby.

Today was also the last shave with the Barbasol FH for a while.
I loaded a vintage Polsilver blade (note: double wrapper/NO glue dots)
I gotta be frank...these aren't my favorite blades.
Yes, I can get a great shave from them and today was no exception,
but they just aren't as smooth as other blades.
I followed the same procedure with WTG, XTG, ATG Neck (both directions) finishing with some ATG clean up.
Baby eluded me on the neck and I was NOT going to press the issue.​

Post-shave included a double skin-cleansing of Dickinson Witch Hazel;
Stirling Glacial Unscented Balm and a new scent in my den:
The Man Silver by Milton-Lloyd for Men​

"Launched by the design house of Milton-Lloyd.
This oriental fragrance has a blend of orange blossom, leather, honey, patchouli, vetiver, carnation, amber and musk."
This scent is supposed to be a clone of the vintage YSL Kouros.
As I have a bottle of that arriving today, I will compare and contrast tomorrow.​
