Love the I Coloniali soap. Why it was discontinued, is one of those questions that may never go unanswered. I remember distinctly, when I first returned to traditional wet-shaving, about 7 years ago, I Coloniali was very popular and refill pucks could be had for $18.00 and a terra cotta bowl for $30. I happened to have bought a few, so I am good to go until 2050. When Pasteur's opened their online store, I nabbed the last tube of the IC aftershave balm and shave cream. :happy036: Great shave, David and welcome to the 30DC crew. BTW, we have a few members who make very good shaving videos, I am sure everyone would be interested in yours too. :eatdrink013:

Are you referring to a looser, wetter lather for the straight shave and a thicker, creamier lather for the head shave, Jeff?

Very nice shave Dave. Love the look of the brush. Is the soap a citrus type blend?

Fat Friday! Tremendous lather whipped up by the trusty Omega all easily swiped away by the Fatboy on 9. Big double splash of American Blend and touch of Stirling Glacial Unscented balm. Fine shave all around. Enjoy your day!

Great shave, Joe. I have been through 3 37C razors and a Hoffritz slant. They are excellent shavers. Not sure why they never lasted long in my shave den.:signs002:

Great shave, Joe! I agree on your sentiments regarding in person or virtual. We are in a blended environment - most kids are face-to-face all 5 days while other kids are fully virtual. Our district extended winter break and now teachers start back January 11 and students the next day. Thursday of next week is the last day of the term but most students can exempt from attendance next week if their grades are above 70 for the semester. It's a trying time for the educational enterprise. I am a fellow teacher, by the way. You probably figured that out but I've never spoken with you about that. Have a great day!

Most excellent shave Jeff. Are you still using weights for your forearms to provide some added stability?
Glad to hear that your two granddaughters are slowly improving. I, too, was a premie, born two months early which required me to be in the Children Hospital in Manhattan for about two months. Now look at me. One big gallupe.

Thank you Perry. In my 41 years as a teacher, I have experience a lot of challenges but nothing compared to this. I wonder what the long term effects will be on these students. How will this impact their work ethic as adults? Many do not have the discipline to stay focused in the virtual environment, let alone in the classroom. Technology can be a blessing, but it is a curse as well if you do not manage it properly.

Thanks and no, it has mango oil in it but not a mango or really a citrus scent. I stink (pun intended) in the scent description ability. It's a darker unusual scent that I struggled with what to pair it. Sunshine Man plays well with it but @Primotenore would be better describing it and look forward to his thoughts.
    Thank you for the Welcome

Thanks, Joe! I would say it’s a good razor, and leave out the ‘very’; I get better more consistent shaves from my non-TTO Gillette ‘New’ models. Of course, that’s me YMMV. :)
