    You bet, Joe! Unfortunately, Parkinson’s doesn’t get better! I couldn’t shave without the weights. :)

    Love that razor, PierPaolo! Was that only available in Europe? I don’t remember seeing that model here, but hey, I was happily shaving daily with my Krona in those days. :)

    I wonder the same. The effects won't be measured for some time but we are certainly creating a path that will need lots of remediation down the road, maybe 20 years down the road as the youngest kids enter the work force.

    Happy Friday Everyone. At long last the USPS managed to deliver my Yates Razor yesterday. Given that I have absolutely zero patience, I managed to take a quick SOTD photo so I could give it a try today. I will use the M plate for a few shaves before moving onto the H plate. The razor is very well made with tight tolerances and first rate machining. The stonewashed finish has a finer texture than the WSC/Yates Merica razor. This finish is much more similar to the finish on the Tatara razors. I went with a traditional 3 pass shave. The angle was easy to find and maintain. The M plate provided some blade feel but not overly so. The overall shaving sensation was smoothness. With minimal touch ups, I managed a near BBS shave. I am impressed with the 921 on its maiden voyage. I expect the shaves will get better with continued use. I hope everyone has a great Friday.

    I tried the GG SB on the Above the Tie Atlas handle this morning for a smooth shave. I really enjoy this handle. Three passes and I am as slick as a catfish's belly.

    The Mitchell’s Wool Fat is just good stuff and a really enjoyable soap.

    A few squirts of Irish Chestnut by Andy Hilfiger and I am ready for Friday.

    Dave, your reviews inspired me to try the Yates razor. It was out of stock so I bought the WSC/Yates Merica razor. I was so impressed with that razor that I jumped on the opportunity to buy the 921 when it restocked on Thanksgiving.
