My wife is a school administrator, English Department Chairperson. She is required to teach two classes. My son, for about the last 5 years, has gone in with her in last August to help her set up. He organizes the supplies that are to be given out to the teachers plus other chores for her. In return, he has a nice lunch of his choice with his mother. I get the day to myself to do whatever I deem necessary.

    ETHOS Succès~~D3 SiLVERTiP~~1947 Gillette Super-Speed/Polsilver~~Creed Aventus
Off the focus for a bit. Had an urge for some ETHOS, so I chose the Succès.
Started with a bit too much moisture in the Duke, but eventually, I got the lather to come together.

Today's razor is my favorite of the Super-Speeds: Anno 1947.
Great year for razors and Marines. ;) @Douglas Carey
Second outing with the original, Polish Polsiver. Somewhat smoother today,
perhaps I wore the burrs off of the edge with yesterday's shave.
Excellent 3-pass shave, including the ATG neck passes.
Rode the safety bar once again and this is really proving Succèsful (sic).
    No
irritation, no nicks nor cuts. Darn close to a BBS on the neck.
Mos def© would fail the cotton ball test on that area, but elsewhere would pass.
I have found cleaning my face with witch hazel after the shave does a great job
removing all residual soap residue. Even though I like the scent of all my shave soaps,
a thorough cleansing of the skin is necessary (for me anyway).
Then, I go for the post-shave products, which today were the matching skin food by ETHOS,
followed by one of my all-time favorite scents, and the scent that clearly inspired this
and many other shave soaps, Creed Aventus.
OUTSTANDING juice, which has enthusiastically received the coveted SWMBOSOA©

Thanks for that, Drew. I'm a little worried on the Niagra Falls persuasion-a reviewer for a Bill Neumann A.S. said his has no orifice reducer at first, but the company sent him one after he wrote WN about it. And yes, it is patented on the Aqua Velva :).

A much better shave this morning than that of yesterday. I repurchased the Dial 4 Men Infinite Fresh bodywash for the pre-shave, and was glad I did. What a clean-what shave preparation! As for the shave itself, 0:30 at the loading dock for the Phoenix AA soap, and I was able to get some serious lathering going. The Stoylin 26mm Pro-Handle no doubt was a factor as well. I think it's a benefit to spread the soap in the direction of the upcoming shave. I see You-Tube video shavers do it a lot. Why do I feel this way, personally. Like Fred Dryer always said in the series HUNTER-, "Worx for me". I can't say it's the strength of the soap itself(which isn't to say Phoenix is weak), but I've used the same soap for a couple sets before now, without spreading in the shave direction, and it just feels better for me the way it is now. Solid cleanliness and freshness all around, and that includes the pesky area at NE Cactus Nation. I may have solved that area. We shall see. 2 passes, could have gone a 3rd, and it was good enough after 1. No injuries. Out Of This World Excellent.

Pretty frustrating. I tried calling and they don't even answer the phone. Just a recording. Covid must've hit them hard.

I think that has something to do with it as well....large volume of packages and being short handed due to sickness.

Excellent shave report and photos Joseph. I use witch hazel each day as well. I rinse my face with cold water and dry with a towel. Then I apply witch hazel with menthol. I allow that to dry while I clean up the sink and then apply aftershave.

Thank you Blair. I really like the razor but the handle could use some help in the looks department. :D

    Razor: H&S Co PO76 Titanium
    Blade: Gillette Winner (3)
    Brush: Simpson Isle of Mann
    Pre-shave: PAA Cube
    Soap: B&M Lavanille
    PAA Galactic Witch Hazel
    B&M Unscented Balm
    AS: B&M Lavanille

    Good morning!

Another awesome shave to start the day! Three passes for near BBS. Nearly silent alum.

Finished off my three shave run with the PO76 Ti. Fantastic razor. I would call it a 'mid aggressive' razor approaching the blade feel of the Blackbird. Fit and finish top tier for sure.

Not much to say about Lavanille. Not for everyone but I love it!

    Have a great day!

Excellent shave Andrew! If you have bulldog handle put it on the R41 head and give it a go. I agree with Jeff....R41 on a nice bulldog handle is a dream.
