Here is a Clix with a bakelite case.

I have more, I'll get the others out when time allows.

I really like the variety in geometry that's found in bakelite razors.

I have one or two clix that I really enjoy. I never tried the PAA only because I wasn't sure if the slant would be too aggressive. Though recently I tried a slant and really liked it.

    Thanks Keith!

I have the belief that there is no such thing as an aggressive razor, only efficient razors.
Aggression is in the hand, efficiency is in the razor. Efficient razors only becomes aggressive if you use it as such.
So get a razor you like, learn to use it properly.
    Just my opinion.
Oh, and blades are the same.
    IMO
No such thing as a ruff or harsh blade, only sharp blades and dull blades.

I have lots of razors, maybe 200, I grab one in the morning. I put a new Feather blade or the sharpest blade that fits in it. I get a great shave, toss the blade. I normally use a different razor almost every day. I sometimes get in a rut, I recently ran a couple weeks on my Yaqi Helmet with a new Feather blade. A real brushhog in efficiency.
Keeps it fresh if I change it up though.

    Well....

I agree total on the razors (for me semantics) the blades though I've found some blade manufacturers can be incredibly inconsistent. I have found some that I really enjoyed tuck after tuck of a particular brand of blades then came across a few tuck where every other one had burrs on them (I used a loop and a scope). I walk away from blade manufacturers that their quality is inconsistent.

I've work in quality for over 25 years ..... consistent poorer quality, you know where you stand ...... inconsistency is a minefield.

    Just my opinion.

    I love light razors.
But in bakelite I've always found models too short for my tastes.

The last one I own is this ...

    Zorro Slant
    Bakelite, Schrägschnitt

Because of this, mostly I use it as frankenrazor.

    Zorro Light
    (Zorro Slant / Maggard "MR14")
