yeah, I wouldn't expect much from such a projector, and we've talked about yours before, so I'd have a reasonable expectation from it.

It wouldn't serve as a home theater system, but it would have its uses

If I didn't have a land line, I wouldn't have home internet and I get no cell service from any company at home. So I am locked into a land line

yeah, DSL was my biggest reason against it for a long time, but now ATT has DSL with no phone service option, and I find myself more seriously considering dropping the land line now. Fortunately I have no issue with my cell coverage at home, and I'm fortunate enough to have internet on my phone, as well as able to tether to my computer with it, but it wouldn't very useful of Netflix (curse ya'll!).

I still don't want to give my cell number out as my primary, because I want to be able to not be bothered by those calls I leave the house to avoid in the first place

I think Frontier offers DSL with no phone. However, I believe it is cheaper to leave the phone attached.
