Just an amazing scent in the A&E Rèvolution which is their dupe on Spicebomb. One of my favorites and actually can't wait to get the soap in their latest base, whatever that will be when I finish this tub. I can't remember the new artwork but prefer the simplicity of this labeling. The Gibbs Adjustable is just such a smooth and yet efficient shaver. I've settled on setting 4 but remember when borrowing one from a friend it was just as smooth all the way to maxed out. Being a daily shaver, I seldom have a need to go to the max settings. Absolutely feel great and smell better. Have a stupid fun day TSD !!!!

The Col. Conk Amber Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Semogue 1305 Boar. First pass with the J.R. Torrey and second pass with Triceratops with a GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Lustray Spice After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed... I will be using the Triceratops for five days starting Monday.

Whoops, I almost posted entirely in German - probably because it’s a language that I’ve been speaking all my life and also because I selected this awesome antique German shaving stick. The scent of this Springreiter is almost entirely gone - what’s left of it is soapy and clean, twenty five seconds of rubbing it on my face and neck and a fairly wet brush gives unbelievably great lather which becomes so rich, thick, as well as slick, and it leaves a really comfortable postshave feeling. What a pity this stick is no longer in production because it’s so good. I received it around fifteen years ago from a good friend of mine in Austria along with a few other nice soaps. The Nip Man balm’s minty scent is very nice and it gives a wonderful soothing sensation along with lots of cooling. As I’ve said before - the Canada Cedar aftershave is as Canadian as Wiener schnitzel and it smells so nice in an old school European way that I love so much - what I would do to be able to get this stuff again. After two weeks of faithful service it’s time to change the Minora blade. I managed to get a brilliant BBS shave in three passes!

DE SOTD

Razor: Razorock Wunderbar slant- Mfg 2017> mid range> can be a bit more aggressive , use a lite touch and it works excellently.
Blade: Gillette Astra SP(6) excellent blade, Sharp & smooth with reasonable longevity and a good bargain IMO.
Soap: Tabac, mild flowery clean scent with excellent lather qualities, I like it a little more wet than other soaps, water hog.
Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24 mm "Sagrada Familia" excellent lather creator, very soft tips, good back bone for a gentle scrub.
Pre Shave: Brush wash whole face with CeraVe hand bar cleanser + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the cleaned beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 2 + pickups. WTG + ATG+ pickups.
Post shave: Fine fresh Vetiver with witch hazel + a dollop of Nivea balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers= Excellent shave with RR Wunderbar + a Gillette Astra blade.

This injector razor provided a DFS shave at the highest setting.
I probably need to use it again to test my technique with this one as it seems to be on the mild side of efficiency for my beard.
I think this one would be a very good shaver to use for a beginner as one would have to work hard to get irritation.
