Had a nice 2 pass weekend shave earlier today before getting a bunch of errands done. A good lather and decent enough results. Enjoyed the Tech these past few days and looking forward to bringing out another oft neglected DE.
    Have a great weekend all!

Joe...I truly believe that if someone showed me how to tie a knot, I could do just as well. Just saying...

Sorry to hear you aren’t completely satisfied with the brush, Joseph. Maybe the employee who used to do stickers has been ‘promoted’ to knot tying...:scared003:

    Razor: British Gen 4 Aristocrat
    Blade: Gillette Blue Blade
Brush: JTSpartan Yaya wood with 10098 knot
    PS: Proraso Green
SS & AS: Stirling Christmas Eve

Thanks for letting me vent a little. As a follow-up my coworker is Covid negative and work is going okay.

I got a NOS package of Blue Blades and wanted to see how they compare. I wanted to hate it having heard they're terrible, but ultimately the blade performance was okay. I'd say it was not as sharp as I like normally but plenty smooth. I did notice I blade buff more with less sharp blades. Lots of buffing with these blades.

Perhaps I'll splurge on some vintage soap and have a few 100% vintage shaves on special occasions.

I have enjoyed your historical shave journey, Bill! By the way, your Dovo Sunday Shaver, and your Thiers Issard razors are Spanish Points. The toe edge extends farther from the toe spine in a French Point a la guillotine and the nose is somewhat rounded.
